Celebrity Kim Kardashian is Engaged

Kim Kardashian's fairy tale life just got the last dose of perfection. Her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries, has proposed to the starlet with a 20.5-carat diamond Lorraine Schwartz ring.


Humphries rolled out the romantic red carpet for Kim -- on May 18th she arrived to her Beverly Hills home to find the basketball star kneeling on one knee in her bedroom floor with "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" written with red rose petals.

Kardashian told People about the proposal: "I didn't expect this at all. I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."

Humphries and Kim's mom Kris planned an intimate celebration with family that night -- decorated to the max with mini-horses covered in glitter!

Kim, who kept coy about the engagement for a week, said back on Valentine's Day: "He just has a really good heart. There has to be trust and honesty and chemistry. If you don't have any of those, it's never going to work."
